'Choose your elf' by Any Man

Look…
If you had…
One short…
One really puny…
To bring everything you ever wanted…
In one moment.
Would you choose it?
Or just get a grip?

Yo…
His palms are small, knee-high, his arms are steady
There's service in this weather already, tom’s machete
He's frivolous, but like a surfer he looks calm and ready
To drop you home, but he keeps on forgettin'
What he brought down, the whole crowd goes so loud
He opens his bag, but the gifts won't come out
He's jokin', how, everybody's freakin' now
The clocks run out, times up, over, ciao!

Snap back to reality, oh there goes clarity, oh, there goes habit, you know, you’re so bad, but you won't, give up that easy, no, you won't have it, you knows the whole city's lost hope, it don't matter, you’re broke, he knows that, but he's forced, he's so scared that he knows, when he goes back to north pole, that's when its back to the dad again, yo, this whole custody. You better go capture this minion and hope you don't pass him.

You better choose your elf in the mall, the tent
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one short guy, do not miss your chance to show
Popularity comes once in a lifetime, you better…

The fools are escaping, through this hole that I’m making
This world is mine for the taking, make him sing
As we move toward a, new wonder
A normal friend is borin', but super friend’s close to ghost rider
It only grows hardly, only grows small
He knows us all over, these bros are all on him
Roast to post shows, he's known as the little helper
Lonely roads, God only knows, he's grown little, from home, he's no fatter
He walks alone, and barely knows his own father
But hold your pose, 'cause here he comes with cold water
His bros don't want him no mo, he's sold product
They moved on to the next schmo in the snow, who blows coke and sold prada
So the fairytale is told, it unfolds, I suppose it's old partna, but the beat goes on…
Da da dumb to change this part, in it?

You better choose your elf in the mall, the tent

You only get one short guy, do not miss your chance to show

No more shame, imma change into the new rage
Gear for monstertruckin’ and get my two dogs changed
I was prayin' in the beginnin', the wood all framed
I been screwed up and sold out and shooed off straight

But I kept eyein’ and right-timin’ the next fighter, best believe somebody's savin’ the nice kind of, all the pay needed to be supplied by the, pact that I made up with one to, five and I can't decide the right type of, style for my anomaly 'cause man, these Amsterdam stamps don't buy fighters. And it’s not groovy, there's no White Walker. This is my elf and these things are so scarred.

And it's getting even harder tryin' to lead and smoke my weed plus drink Corona caught up between bein' an owner and a pre-loner maybe panorama feelin’ on and too much for me,

To want to smoke some pot, another plan or not
Has gotten me to a point, it’s like a slave I've bought
To humiliate him or not, fore he goes to jail or rots
To not obsess is my only brother lovin’ option, fame is not
Elf, I love you, but this tale has got to go, you cannot be sold to another pothead
So here you go, bye’s what I got
Please tail me not, 'cause maybe this is the only opportunity you got

You better lose your elf in the woods, the trench
You’ve blown it, you better let it go
You’re not lonely and lost, you got your chance to show
A little sanity comes once in a lifetime, you better…

The Chronicles of Genius Rabbit: Psychopath gone sober

“Whose balls do I have to break to get some cabbage around here?” Genius Rabbit wasn’t this perturbed usually but his mind was kind of fucked greatly because of the current case he was handling. It was something he had not dealt with since the time Book Worm had lost his memory after the 9/11 attacks. It took him almost an hour to treat him. To make him remind of the many tigers he had killed in his lost state. This case was different although. Not because the victim and the culprit were the same but because the victim and the culprit were avid television watchers. A person so addicted to the world of television is not fooled by the whims and fancies of the real world. The victim and the culprit was Psychopath George. In an attempt to take revenge from his long-time rival Happy Fred, Psychopath George had accidently fallen prey to his kindness. Why was this bad? This was bad because Happy Fred was one of the top criminals of Mount Paramount Pictures. “Here you are, sir.” The giraffe wh...

WHAMBAY! 2: Lost in transition

‘Na jee paaoge, na jaa paaoge…’ Another year in Mumbai. And boy, has it been another ride. I really did not expect it to be, considering the challenges and experiences I shared in the first blog. But here I am. Writing again. And solely because I want you guys to appreciate the lives of the people from here, people living here, people wanting to live here. What’s the big deal? Why another post? This isn’t anything like a Sacred Games or a Gully Boy, glorifying and fantasising life in Mumbai. This is just more of the same. Hard facts, engagements in real life. And I guess some of you would be interested in it. I got comments and suggestions from people like me, who moved in, about how true I was about whatever I was saying. I had people from here tell me, how they had forgotten about these little things in their process of growing. I had people, who wanted to come here, get freaked about the ways of living and surviving in this city. So, let me go further into narration and tel...
